Incumbent provides front line phone assistance to veterans calling for pharmacy needs, including but not limited to checking on prescription status, ordering refills, requesting renewal, reviewing refill history, following protocol for providing partials or tracking prescriptions. As part of a consolidated or multi-disciplinary call center, the call center technician interacts directly with other disciplines to meet the needs of callers. Trains new employees in call center support as needed.
