IT Systems Analyst - Tanana Valley Clinic Overview This position provides expertise in selected business or healthcare processes and participates in formulating system scope and objectives relative to the company’s requirements. Works as part of a team who provides knowledge, guidance, research and fact finding expertise to define, design and modify specifications and processes of information systems. Incumbent participates in establishing system documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies for systems and applications. Position Available: Monday - Friday Full Time Call Required Exempt Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day. Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented as outlined by the incumbent's immediate manager. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must possess an associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and healthcare experience. Must have at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and healthcare experience. In some cases, this position may require clinical certification or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Medical Assistant, Respiratory Therapist, Pharmacy Tech, etc. Requires intermediate to advanced skills using word processing, spreadsheet, database and other standard business applications. Requires communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels. As is typical in this industry, variable shifts and hours, and on-call duties may be required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional related education and/or experience preferred. Licensed RN, PT, OT, or MLS preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Project management experience preferred.
