As an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician at WakeMed, you will play an important role in our retail pharmacy operations by providing customer service and point of sale assistance to customers. Job duties include entering prescription requests, assisting customers in our retail pharmacy (selecting medications as requested, operating cash register, etc.), billing prescriptions to agency payers and assisting with inventory maintenance. As a valued member of our Pharmacy team, you will have the opportunity to work with pharmacists, patients and members of the community. The base rate of pay is $16/hour and we offer many opportunities for growth and development for our team members.
