Responsible for assisting with project completion including analysis, training, testing, documentation, problem resolution and implementation of the 340B program
including split billing accumulation software, ordering platforms and other software as needed. Provides input into project plans for the maintenance and expansion
of the 340B program. Responsible for providing professional support for the implementation and maintenance of 340B split billing accumulation system(s) to ensure
that operational needs of the Enterprise Pharmacy department are met. --. Assists in training of new employees; testing of software upgrades, customizations and software
advisories; compiling and monitoring reports from various automated systems. In addition, the analyst is responsible for monitoring inventory and accumulation levels
and completing required audits for 340B compliance.
Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger Health (GH) in its efforts to provide quality pharmaceutical and patient satisfaction.
Works under the direct supervision of the 340B Program Director and the AVP Clinical Informatics and reports ultimately to the VP, Enterprise Pharmacy.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Successful completion of the pharmacy technician certification board's national exam preferred.
Bachelors, Associates degree in Computer Science or advanced training in Information Systems or Pharmacy highly preferred.
Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy technician in the acute care and/or ambulatory setting including pharmacy computer and/or other pharmacy
technology systems experience required.
Experience using pharmacy information system(s), Word, Excel, email and other automated equipment utilized in the pharmacy department required.
Must successfully complete Apexus 340B University, within the first year in the position
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must have the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule of rotating shifts. On-call time may be necessary on an as needed basis.
Must be able to stand or walk for approximately 40% of the shift.
