The operations director is responsible for managing day to day operations of the pharmacy department. Responsibilities include staffing, associate performance expectation and measurement and training, pharmacy informatics, purchasing and inventory control, coordination or operational issues, policy and procedure development and implementation, as well as medication dispensing.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D.
Masters Degree and/or Residency preferred.
Three to five years of hospital pharmacy experience.
Requires current Texas State Board of Pharmacy License.
