Responsible for managing a case load of patients and acting as the key contact for patients serviced by the Specialty Pharmacy. Responsible for developing and coordinating patient care when necessary. Efficiently functions as a pharmacist at CareSite Specialty Rx and provides efficient, accurate, and safe medication services to patient/customers by filling physicians’ prescriptions after evaluating individual medical needs, consulting appropriate references, and counseling physicians and other health professionals, if needed. Assumes overall responsibility, in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, by delegating authority to pharmacy technicians and other non-clinical staff. Works under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager at CareSite Specialty Rx.
CareSite Specialty Rx requires an individual to communicate with and support the patients we serve. This individual will coordinate the activities and lead resolution of issues between CareSite Specialty Rx, Account Manager/Medical Care Coordinator, provider and patient in order to ensure that all aspects of the patient care are clearly understood.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in pharmacy or doctor of pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited college and current licensure or eligibility for licensure by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy required.
Must complete the requirements for continuing education credits as mandated by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy to maintain current Pennsylvania pharmacist license.
Minimum of 1-3 years previous specialty pharmacy or related clinical experience preferred.
Epic and QS1 software experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position works in a closed door pharmacy environment. Position required repetitive use of hands and fingers for telephones and computers. Part of the workday is spent on their feet and moderate lifting is involved at times
