The Director of Pharmacy shall ensure that the department meets all legal and accreditation/certification requirements. The Director shall also ensure the department complies with all applicable hospital policies, procedures, codes, and standards. In conjunction with Medical Staff and Nursing, the director leads initiatives to deliver timely, safe and cost effective pharmaceutical services.
Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
Graduate degree and/or Residency desirable.
Minimum 5 years previous experience in hospital pharmacy management.
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Must have current Texas State Board of Pharmacy license.
