Pharmacists review and verify medication orders, monitor patient drug therapies and provide drug information. Pharmacists practice in an evidence based environment and participate in teaching pharmacy students and pharmacy residents. Pharmacists supervise and direct supportive personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Texas.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher degree.
Hospital experienced required or PGY-1 or PGY-2 Residency.
