Providence is calling a Pharmacist (Pharmacy, Variable Shift, 0.5FTE) to Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washingon. Position details: This is a part-time position (20 hours/week) with benefits. Variable shift (Mixture of day and evening shifts with rotating weekends).
In this position you will:
Independently review and assess medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems.
Contact physicians, nurses and other professionals as necessary to facilitate care.
Manage drug therapy protocols as part of physician-pharmacist-nurse team.
Compound and dispense medications, provide drug and drug therapy related information and supervises the work of pharmacy support personnel.
Report to the Director of Pharmacy and will be assigned additional duties as determined by need.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree OR Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
Licensed to practice in the State of Washington
Post graduate residency or three (3) years pharmacist experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Prior hospital and/or infusion experience
