The goal of the regional PBM Sales Manager is to lead all business development initiatives, establishes targeted sales objectives, generates leads and follows-up to create sales and business development opportunities. Establish strong business relationships; collaborates with Self-insured employers, and hospitals. Which may include Health Plans, Health Exchanges, Union Labor Funds, Health Care Coalitions, and Health Care Consultants. Candidate will work within an assigned region, and promote American Health Care’s full range of PBM and disease management services.

identify self-insured prospects in the region and secure meetings with key decision makers—including senior human resource/benefits managers CFOs, CEOs and Brokers/Consultants.
develop a complete and up-to-date database of clients and contacts; document sales activities using Pipeline Report
grow revenues through new accounts and acquisitions
secure new business in accordance with an annual sales plan
coordinate client management from commitment through contract
successfully negotiate and close complex business deals independently
at close of sale, define terms of deal for internal departments
generate leads within territory
coordinate product demonstrations—definition of key product needs aligned with specific client opportunity
update territory management tools; report sales activity to management meet margin and sales targets
remain current of PBM industry trends and competitive knowledge
Other assigned duties as requested by management.
May encounter and work with HIPAA regulated data.
An in-depth knowledge of pharmacy benefits strong relationships with hospitals, employers and brokers/consultants

Educational and Other Requirements:
BA or BS degree in life science or related field (MBA strongly Preferred) and 5+ years of related pharmacy benefit management, health plan, hospital or TPA sales experience.
