Swedish Medical Center is looking for a PharmacistLead \(1\.0 FTE, Days\) at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
We are seeking a detail focused, caring, and thoughtfulindividual in Pharmacy care, promoting the goals and upholding the ideals ofSwedish Medical Center in providing excellent care and experience for our diversepatient population\. The Lead Pharmacist will be the Pharmacist In Charge\(PIC\) for the Swedish Comprehensive Care Center \(SCCC\) working to comply withaccreditation policies and procedures\. Additionally, the PIC will developoperational and clinical standards for the SCCC working in parallel with thePharmacy Director/ Manager\(s\)\.
In this position you will:
Direct the day to day operations of the pharmacists and technicians to assure that the department is operating efficiently
Assure that established policies for clinical programs and distributive functions are being adhered to by the staff
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
Current license to practice as a registered pharmacist in the State of Washington
A minimum of two years' experience working as a Pharmacist in an acute, or ambulatory care setting
Ability to recognize workflow problems and to direct resources or change systems to correct them
Ability to prioritize and triage work in a high volume, high stress environment
